Sunny Days :)
It's such a beautiful day out there! The sun is shining and it is not too cold. I love when the sun is out and bright, it just gives people more energy and motivation.
Just 2 and 1/2 more weeks and this semster is finished. I'm very excited because a break is the only thing that is going save me fron a nervous brake down. Every Sunday, i write all the of my homework and chores that have to be done by Friday. The average is around 15 but I believe I just hit a record: 35!!! I have been a very busy girl but have yet to make much of a dent in my workload. Oh! for a day where I could just sit and read. I really miss doing that.
I have my Chemistry lab is about 20 minutes and I am not in the least bit motivated to go but I shall. It's really a rather dull class and the teacher is never satisfied with the work. We are forever doing something that is wrong. The people in my group do not give me in more reason for wanting to do. They could care less about getting a good grade which leaves the bulk of the work on moi. Another reason why I am not wanting to go today is because of a lock. At the beginning of the term, we were told to get a lok for our drawers. Well I did but it didn't fit and I didn't get another and have just been using the schools lock. The only problem with that is that I have to get the key from our student instructors and a girl got yelled at last lab by the professor for not getting a lock. So, I have picked up a lock and shall have to sneak into the where they keep the keys and swap looks. Let's see if I can do this without getting caught.
I found a new blog to read! I was so excited because all of the ones that I have been reading were not that good. The only one that was half way interesting was even true. I guess it was quite a scandal in the blog community, if you read that section. I don't tell what blog I have or have not read... not sure why but I just don't. Anyway, this blog that I found reads well and is not too serious or too boring.

My First Post!
Bonjour. This isn't my first blog but I decided to end my relationship with the last and start over. I needed a new look and a different perspective. In the last few months my life has been about making changes. My only question is are they the right changes? Myabe I didn't need to make any in the first place? Do I need to make more? I was tired of my life then but my life now, well.... different but still not exactly what I wanted. Originally, I thought, transfering from Saint Mary's and changing my major to nursing would be the best thing for me. Being almost through my first semseter, I can say that transering was the right choice but I cannot say so much about the latter. After studying accounting for two years, it has been difficult moving from a business related to field to a science related one.
I miss my best friend, too. We used to room together and even though we did not agree about things most of the time, it is lonely here all by my lonesome. I miss the serenity and peace of SMWC but ISU is more bustling and I'm kept more active.
I suppose I should write a little about myself, even though I doubt anyone will be reading this. First off, unlike my older blog, I have no particular purpose. I am justing going to write whatever is in my head or whatever I am feeling at the time. It will be more like a free- writting blog, than anything else. I'm not concerned with sturcture. It hampers too much.
My alias is Colette. No, it isn't my real name, just a name I picked randomy from a list of French words. I like French and have studied the language for several years but, sadly, I'm still not very good.
I live in little unknown Indiana. Bri and I always talk about how obscure this state is. No one really knows about Indiana, well, except for the race car fans. States even states like Maine, Washington, and Utha are more well known then us. Quiete sad really because Indiana is such a beautiful state. The weather is a little fickle, though, and can be snowing one day and the next its 55 degrees.
Moving on, I'm a college student, currently in pre-nursing. Techincally, I'm not in the nursing program yet. I still have to pass my TEASE test and make sure my GPA stays above a 3.0. The GPA won't be a problem. The TEASE, ont the other hand...who knows. If nursing doesn't work out, it will be either psychology or finance but I will cross that road when I get there, if I get there.
I'm close to my my immediate family, however not so much my extended family. My life is rather complicated but, hey, who's it and I'm not going to get into that sticky mess right now. Drama is my favorite and it all does get pretty dramatic. My best friend is Bri and we have know each other since we were 9 and moved to Clinton and started attending Sacred Heart. I always liked Bri but her friend Christina was not my favorite at first. Over time Christina and I became good friends, too. She's married and is having a baby now! I can't believe my cowgirl is going to be a mommy. It seems like yesterday, the three of us were going horseback riding on the trails at Country Haven and, of course, getting lost. All three of us are directionally challenged it seems. We can't go anywhere without getting lost.
I have six precious kitties that are my babies. Patches is the mother figure and the oldest of them. She is so petite and nuturing but she is getting older and has a lot of arititis. Lucky is the mean big brother in the house. He is a long cat with a very long tail, who is more of a lover than a fighter. Blackie is the most elegant and sophisticated cat in the house. She is very flighty and a target for bullying. Speaking of bullying, that is what our only long haired cat, Misty does best. She is a very pretty cat but she has the meanest temper and is very jealous and possessive. Muffy is our fat cat and some people mistake her for a ratcoon for some reason. She is very shy and skittish. Our last cat, Yeller, is a new addition to our family. We adopted him in June. He was originally a stray but it was getting so hot outside that we just had to let him in and he has stayed ever since.
